cinor said: So whats the scoop on the gathering? Adam no list of attendee's as per other years, is there any prepay fees? time is drawing nearer even though it doesn't feel like summer in the great north
Mark would be the one to answer, but it appears to me that there are no pre-paid events this year. If that's true, very convenient for everyone involved, in my opinion.
As far as attendee list, you're right. No list. I'll see if I can add one to the bottom of the first post in this thread.
Thanks.

We will be updating some details on the agenda and the attendee list, hopefully by Friday night (tomorrow). As certain activities and restaurants require a minimum number of people to reserve a private room, having the best count possible would be a big help.

You will have to add Dave and Nadine Mooney...we made the reservations for both of us and it looks like they didn't make the list because of that. Thanks.

You might check with Chuck (Chuck7d8) as you only show him only. I'm pretty sure Linda will be coming too. That's another one we can add.

It is with mixed feelings that we are not going to be able to attend the gathering this year. Sad, because the gatherings are always a lot of fun and a good chance to catch up with everyone. Excited because I (Bob) will be getting a fatter vocal cord on the first afternoon of the gathering. The end result should be a stronger voice and improvement in the ability to eat and swallow but nothing else gets improvement. This is an outpatient procedure so I will be at home for what little recovery there is. So keep us in mind as the gathering goes on, we will be there in spirit and missing all of you but then there is next year. We are for wherever it is decided to go.
finally arrived and rarin' to ride

Sorry you can't make it Bob. I know all too well what it's like to have your health keep you from things. Right now, I'm a mess. Hoping that by July I'll be ok to travel.
See you at future events!

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Still need to “shake it out,” at least once more before the gathering, but Candi and I took the drive from the hotel to New Castle and we believe it is a good mix of quaint country roads, small town America, and some nice curves, all while still being a direct route!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

As we get closer and closer to this awesome event, it is looking more and more likely that I will not be able to make it. Short of some sort of miracle, I don't think I'll be healthy enough in time to make the trip. I'm really unhappy about this, especially since I plan to bring my son with me. There's still about a month till the event, so there's a glimmer of hope, but that's about it.
