As a born and raised Northwesterner, and a U of W Huskie, the area of is full of things to see and do.
Corvette related there is a company that does conversions that may be of interest. See: http://www.crcoachworks.com They are in the Tacoma area.
Weatherwise, August and September are usually the two best months for visiting Tacoma/Seattle.

Sarge hit all the good points and I'll add a couple more. Get contracts for everything if possible. Not that people try to cheat you, but they do forget. The earlier you can secure the food and rooms the better. Once you have your dates for the gathering try to secure the rooms and food as early as possible. Unscheduled events can eat up rooms (the Rolling Stones coming to town during our gathering was a surprise).
If I can help, just send me a pm or call if you have my number. It might take me awhile to get back to you as I don't have cell service or internet at the new place yet.

For those of use traveling cross country we will need at least a week either side of the dates (except for sarge81, he only needs 2 days). We want to make stops along the way at the many must see places. Early July is best for us only so we can make it to Ebo's at the end of July, but we hope to make it whenever the date turns out to be. I hope the car is up to it.

Hey I'm not that fast. But you were close.

Back in '89 I did drive from Tacoma to Buffalo in 2.5 days by myself in an old '76 Buick Regal. That was one long hot boring ride.

So whoever leads the planning committee for nailing down restaurants to eat at, can you take a look at this place. Engine House #9. It was at one time a horse drawn fire engine house that was converted to a Bar and Restaurant. I used to hang out there back in '89. It looks a lot nicer since I was there. They have 2nd floor party/event room that can handle 15-65 people.

Looks like sarge didn't get the planning out of his system. Sounds like he's itchin' to help out on this one as well!

Just figured I'd offer a little inspiration or jump start to the folks who choose to grab this bull by the horns. Mich and I really excited about going on this trip and meeting some of our NW members.
