I'm planning on going to the High Desert Museum that day. Not
going to Crater Lake. So if anyone want to do to the museum instead,
they can come. That way in the afternoon we can relax by the pool and
then go to the valve cover races. I'm sure we can go out to dinner in
Sisters afterward, then return back to Bend. Additionally, I have built 3 extra Valve Cover Racers for anyone who would like to race them, is welcome to do so.

Steve, Great idea!! The High Desert Museum is a great place, and always has activities & shows. The Lava Lands Visitor Center & New Berry National Volcanic Monument is really close to the High Desert Museum. It would make a great addition to Museum trip. Anyone not planning on the drive to Crater Lake should take you up on the offer!

Sounds interesting, but I gotta drive. Never seen Crater Lake.

Very cool Steve. I really like the sound of the valve cover races. Kinda reminds me of the pine box derby in the Cub Scouts. I never got enough of that. But, this is one time the wife wouldn't see it my way, so I'd better join her on the drive

Just to get an idea of the Friday happenings.
How many of you will be going to the High Desert Museum?
How many will take the cruise to Crater Lake?
I hope this will fill the void as to what we can do in the Bend area.

Question, beside the hotel, Is this pay as you go? or do i have to send someone a check. We have never attended a C3VR function and just want to get it right.

Mark, you are correct. You pay your own way, for what ever you want to do.
I believe there will be a hospitality suite for our group at the Hotel.
( guess we have enough rooms held) so we get this room for the group meetings and such.
Mike and Larry correct me if I'm wrong.
