Mike if you can get us into the eagle crest that would be sweet, it is a nice place with lots to do, large parking, nice rooms, golf, pool.

OK everyone. I made a call to a motel that our club used when we did our fall tour.
The Motel is the Bend Riverside Motel, 1566 NW Wall St, Bend OR 97701-1901 (541-389-2363)

Talked to Frank the manager, He has three types of room available. 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed, $72
A studio with a kitchen and a queen bed $109, A 2 bedroom room with 2 baths & living room $159.
There is no free breakfast
He said we could block these rooms (I mentioned that there would be about 20 rooms) using Carson City as a estimate.
So why don't we start listing as who is planning on coming and we can get a better idea as to how many rooms we need and where we would like to stay.

Additionally, I contacted the Holiday Inn Express in Bend. I asked for a group rate.
Single room with 1 King Bed $93.74, Single room wit 2 Queen Beds $102.34. Again (I mentioned that there would be about 20 rooms) using Carson City as a estimate.
There is a Free Breakfast and we could get all together parking like we did in Carson City.

I will be attending. My mom is going to be ticked cause my niece is getting married that same weekend. I like the idea of the hotel having breakfast included in the room cost and at the hotel. That way we don't have to get organized just to go for breakfast. But will do what ever the group thinks is the best deal.

Hay Everyone. I just received an email from the Holiday Inn Express in Bend regarding rooms and rates and securing the rooms for our gathering. Anyone wish to comment on this?

We received your inquiry regarding room availability and rates for the dates of 1/15-1/18, 2010 for a total of 60 room nights.    We are happy to extend the discounted rate to you of $99 per night for single rooms (King Room) and $109 per night for a double room (Two Queen Beds).
