Did I hear someone mention Party at John's? I'll be driving down from Everett,Mukilteo area and can meet up with anyone coming from the north. I'll be off all week. Sounds like a good trip. We were thinking about going down HIWY 97 also thats a nice road trip to Bend.

Has anyone done any research as to rooms and or a host hotel in the sisters area. I just called a few in the area and the HDCC has 50 rooms block of at the sisters inn and suites for the 16 and 17th. I figure that is going to be there host hotel, i know i figured that out all by myself, anyways the Best Western is across the hiway according to the dude I spoke with, so I sent an email to the G.M. of the best western to see about a block of rooms, did not know how many rooms so I guessed at 30 rooms.
Has anyone contacted HDCC to see if any of the rooms they reserved for us as well, Or for anyone?
Just figure I would lok into it and try to reserve a place for all of us in one place.

I sent an email to HDCC and they said nothing about room or a host hotel.
Just asked about how many Vettes we will bring.
So I guess we should just get our own hotel and join in when we can with their show and activities.
Not sure if you want to take the lead on this Larry? :>) But thanks for checking this out.

not sure what you or other feel is over priced price might be reasonable with a group rate. is there others in the area that are large enough for all of us? how wide is our circle to stay in and drive from? Do we want to stay in Bend or Redmond and drive?
Is there any interest from those coming west to drive out to the coast make it a longer trip/vacation just give a shout we'll set up something good

Larry, I am with Steve here and my vote is to put you in change of this deal. Lets try and stay as close to downtown sisters as we can.
Reasonable rate is anything under $200 a night. (long as its nice).
