T-Man: It did the same thing to me. I just wasn't signed in, I had come to the page from my e-mail when I clicked on the link in Jim's email message. When I signed-in, the link to vote was there.

Vette(s): 1972 Steel Cities Gray T Top. Original Owner, Original Paint and Interior. The running gear has been rebuilt. only 250,000 miles on the clock..
[QUOTE=T-Mans70,73]I agree that this looks like a good offer. Lets take it.
I also would like to see us do SOME activities on our own, even if its before of after the main event.

There is a lot to do in this area. May be a day cruise to Crater Lake (bring a sack lunch) and back to Bend. There is also the High Desert Museum which is nice. And there is Deschutes Brewery. http://www.deschutesbrewery.com/splash/default.aspx

I would hope that we would plan a lot of our own activities but include some of the HDCC event things.  Both the Carson City and Hot Springs gatherings worked well like that as local activities were mixed in with things we planned to do. Norsky2009-09-13 19:00:43

Yeah, I'm with you Jim, considering my primary interest is getting to know my fellow C3VR members and sharing our common interest. I love you guys.

24 votes were cast to pick a location within Oregon and as of a few moments ago 14 votes have been cast for the mid-July dates with 1 vote cast for another date.  By my simple math that means, if no votes are changed, the July dates have the majority of the vote.

So is it too early to call the vote on the dates over?  Or do I have to use the total number of votes cast in the first round (37) as the number to use for determining the winner?

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
seems to me like if you wanted to vote for a time you should have done it by now.  I personally do not see now we can go wrong with connecting with the corvette club in the area, seems like a lot of the ground work would be somewhat done for us, seems like piggy backing along with there local get together might create a little better pricing.  I would like for us to look into, maybe some one in the area or some one from oregon could contact the club in the area, to see about staying, a host hotel, in the sisters area, great little town, beauty surroundings, close enough to bend, where the corvette club is having there shin dig at, just feels like a really good place to me, but what do I know I am really not a human being, I just play one on T.V.

OK Larry,
There is a Holiday Inn express...like the one we stayed at in Carson City. They are located on Hyw 97 in Bend (this will take you to Redmond, going North) This is just past the intersection of Hwy 20 ( this will take you to Sisters...where the High Desert Club is having their event) So I'm sure we can block some rooms for our gathering, since we have time on our side. Just my .02
Steve
