Lake Placid would work for us, I would like to be close to a lake or something like that to drive around and enjoy the scenery. I can always drive a curvy road fast, it's more fun on a new trip to go slow.

As per the poll, we'll be in the New England area.
As for the date, I have been very busy lately and have not been able to devote time to this. I will do my best to pick a date by the end of the week.
If anyone wants to help me, please find out what average daily temperatures are in RI, MA, CT for April through October.

I'll do some research.
But for sure possibility of snow in April, have seen big late storms on Mothers day in May and Oct after the second week could also see early storms.
Vettes snow / ice........not so good

Yep I was guna say from my lifetime experience July and Aug are always the best bet.....for warmer weather.
Schools end the year by 3rd week of June and Start back up mid week after Labor day, family vacations will be in this time frame.
Tourist trap areas will be busy...........

If it's in NE then I don't think I am going to be able to make it. I still have a really bad knot in my back and am pretty sore just from the drive to Effingham.
