I hope we have time in our schedule to visit Dollywood and I hope we get a clear day to drive the Great Smokey Mountain Park roads.
I still haven't voted yet, but I'm leaning toward early June.
When do the kids get out of school in TN? And don't tell me 3 PM.

Nashville is not too far either...
Maybe I can get some good rates on the Opryland Hotel... my nephew is the Hotel Manager there... i will have to check him out...

I voted for september, simply because if I do make the trip my vacation time is rebooted in late August.

Pidgeon Forge is probably closer to Virginia than Nashville, so don't count on your nephew for much at Opryland.... unless you REALLY love to drive!!!
There are some great twisty cruzin' roads in and around the Smokies though. We are driving from Nashville and it is a 4-5 hr drive...
