Vette(s): My 1974 Vette sold last August 2014. I am still willing to show up to events and local gatherings if anything happening No new vette yet.

I agree to the west cost idea. but how many members would make it from the east coast? do we have a large amount of members in the west coast to support a big show/ gathering? i mean if the majority of members is in the middle or east coast wouldn't you want to stay to that area so the most members would show up? i am from new jersey. if it were in the west coast area. i wouldn't be able to bring my '74 vette. but i would definitely consider renting a vette at the car rental place near wherever the show is. to atleast show i got the spirit with me.  i would consider middle of the state or eastern. i just signed up the last summer and was working through the last c3 gathering. i never got a chance to see one no matter how many were on the east coast. you all should also consider what the new members want as well. so far there have been 4 gatherings.  thats by all of you, perhaps the new members should have a voice in this decision as well.

i dunno, maybe i am nuts and what is said makes no sense. but thats just what i think

Vette(s): 1978 (25th Annv. Edition)Red, Black interior, 4-Speed Transmission, L-82, Power & Air, Very Rare Option Package(Only 145 Red 1978s with a 4 speed trans) & Very Original Car, with original Window Sticker, Bill of Sale and all documentaion.

Branson, MO would be a great location and during the June 2006 Vette Show would a great time for all. There is plenty of great driving and shows that will fill the interest of most people. There is even a new "Dick Clark" Classic Rock theater that should be open by then.

Brason is centraly located in the US and really opens up to Vette/Car Show events!!

I think it would be the ideal time and location. FUN FOR ALL!!!

This is for all of you east coast vettes. i looked up on yahoo maps. branson, MO.  i got driving directions to branson,Mo. if u were to tow or drive your car out there. it is 1172.5 miles one way to branson, thats basically a straight line from my house in NJ. it will take 18 hrs 2 min. now if i go i need to start looking for a enclosed trailer. no way am i putting those miles on my vette.

perhaps have three events. west, mid, east gatherings. so no one feels left out and you still have fun and good times and maybe even more new members will sign up and join that way.

Vette(s): 2005 Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic Coupe --------------------- Sold 1974 T-top, 4 spd to BillKS
I'd like to try someplace fun with nice scenery and great activities. If that includes another event that's ok. As Tricer said Branson Mo. was discussed. Plenty of rooms and if our meeting was held during the corvette show that would be no problem at all. The branson corvette show is a small show 150 + cars. June 9,10,& 11th are the dates. Branson is quite a show place and its in the ozark mountains.
I like the idea of going to Branson.  I've been there several times and its a great place to visit.  The Corvette Show dates also are the dates they have a Cajunfest in Branson (June 8 - 10, 2006).  Some great music and food (especially the food!!).  Just something to think about.  My wife is cajun french from Louisiana and I love the food.  (By the way, in case she see's this, I love her too.)
