We are new members and would like to introduce our self. We live in Cottonwood, AZ., have 4 corvettes. Two 1979's, one 1990 coupe and one 1991 roadster. We are new to this computer stuff so don't have any pictures to show yet, but where learning.
Have any members out there ever been or intend on going to Spearfish? This is going to be our first time attending the corvette rally there. If anyone out there has been I'd like to hear a little about what it's all about.

Vette(s): 1976 Brown with Buckskin Interior. I bought her on 9/15/03 and just received it on OCT 1st 2003!! It needs interior work, and some things under the hood, but I am so excited! Just waiting for Summer of 2004 to totally show it off.
I have never herd of Spearfish, SD, however I hope you have a digital camera. Take pics for us and then share so we can all see

Cottonwood huh?
I live in the Blue Ridge/Clints Well area. Have never been to Spearfish in the Vette, but have rode there on my bike. Lots to see in the area...Mt. Rushmore, Devils Tower, etc. Make sure you leave some time to check out Deadwood. Very cool town! When does the Vette Rally take place there?

The dates for the Black Hills Corvette Classic are:
July 14th, 2004 in Sioux Falls, SD then they all drive to Spearfish, SD on July 15th and stay for the weekend, 16th, & 17th. Between 5 and 600 vets show up every year. It's the Sturgis of Corvettes. The web page is www.blackhillscorvetteclassic.com/events.html
They have pictures on the net of last year's event. We can't wait to go. Thanks for your reply.

Actually my member name and my license plate on my 91 roadster are the same. Suzanne has the same plate on her vet. Small world. I tried the new chat room and I guess you had just logged off. Well try again later.

I live in the Black Hills and would love to get together with everyone going to spearfish this year. I haven't been able to make it there yet. It seems we always have a fire in the Hills during Sturgis or the Corvette reallys so Im out fighting fires and miss out every year but not this year we will be there for the whole thing.
