My new to me '94

Had an '88 coupe doug nash trans, in dark silver all lined up in Ontario and my buddy in BC sent a link to a '94 Polo Green vert. auto  that looked sweet. It promises to be all but new with only 21k miles on it, one owner: an uncle of the seller who cannot drive any more.My buddy checked it out and now it's in his garage bought and paid for by yours truly and just waiting for me to go out there and drive her home.
 
Great opportunity to visit Vancouver Island and see some of it and to drive back across Canada to Ontario.

I fly out this Thursday (Aug. 29) and after a couple days sightseeing we head for Ontario on Sunday Aug. 25. to arrive back in Cambridge on the 30th.

Wow, that's a couple of fantastic opportunities all wrapped up together, cool car and a cool road trip in beatiful country

After only 155 1997, and 223 1998 C5's were sold in Fairway Green, they haven't ever offered a green on Corvette again.

It was definitely popular on the 90-96 C4, particularly with saddle interior. Just like Cadillac, Buick, Accura, Honda, seemingly every other GMC/Chevrolet SUV produced, etc. Early 90's was green/tan overload. The car buying public burned out on it.

Actually the green is coming back in style.  I was at Corvettes at Carlisle about 2 weeks ago & sat in a 2014 with that green color.  It had the 3LT trim with a very classy interior in dark brown leather & matching dark brown suede inserts on the seats, doors, & dash.  I thought is was a sharp car.
