my 84 c4

I was never really  interested in a corvette though my b/in-law had one for 9 years. In dec of 05 we were having lunch(our christmas get together),when b/in-law started talking about selling his vette.Just out of curiousity I asked what he wanted for it and  he said he would take 3,000 for it. After i picked my jaw off of the floor, i thought this would make a good project for me, as my companion had recently passed and i was at home by myself. It turned out to be great. I joined a local car club and later met my new companion through the club president (she worked for him).It turned out i fell in love with this car. I have repainted it viper red (originally it was black), i have replaced the charcol grey interior with black leather, replaced all the carpet and door sills.I replaced the stereo and the steering wheel. I replaced the original 16 inch wheels with 17 inch bullits. Engine and drivetrain are all original. I take it  to local car shows and have won many awards. really nice looking vette. wish he was my brother in law. vettes are so easy to fall in love with once you get in one. good luck with it.

Thanks. I wish i could figure out how to put the small pictures so they would come up when i made a post or a reply, i am not very computer literate. i struggle to get up what i do get up..ha ha..

I like the look of those wheels on the car, they fit! I have seen countless others make a goofy attempt... I was beginning to think that no one could make it work.

its easy.at top left right next to supporting vendors click on the member control panel link. next page click on profile tab and scroll down to where it says signature and click on the link to add a pic to your signature and then follow those directions. it will upload the pic in the right size to your personal file and the copy that file into signature box using the bb codes to add an image.

Thanks, I found those wheels at a car show I was attending. The vendor had this set and I thought they looked good, so I rolled one all the way across the park and sat it beside the car and looked at it. Imoved it from front to b ack and side to side and decided I liked them enough to buy.I bought them and put two in the vette and two in a friends 'goat' and took them home.

Love it.  Very nice 84...those wheels look great on it.
