Just checking to see if anyone is going to Corvette Day at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. It is this Saturday 5/3 and we'll be celebrating the 50th anniversary. Let me know...

Mike, I'll be there with my ride and my honey. He decided to ride with me on this one and leave his C5 at home. Been registered for months, got about 15 club members going, so it should be a real blast. We'll all be parked together on the upper levels if it doesn't rain. I know! Don't say the "r" word! lol We'll be leaving the T.O. area at 6:45. Come find my ride and us, then you can show us yours. Glad to FINALLY meet someone from this forum in person that I don't already know!

Hi, I'm planning on it. I registered real late and got downstairs parking. That might be ok now as it sounds like rain. I won't be there with the '70, but my wife and I were real lucky to snag a new anniversary convertible. It should be an awesome show. Kind of hard to go wrong with one of each year! See you there. Sounds great, we are registered in the Corvette Coral (where ever that is) Blue 1970 unless we get the serious wet stuff, then we'll bring my wifes '02.

The Petersen said that the coral is on the upper, exposed levels 3 & 4 I think. If it's coming down, they'll move us inside under cover, but I have no idea what floor that will be. I'll be there in the rain, leaks and all. I'm not missing this, and I figure my chances are better in the raffle if hardly anyone shows up. lol Oh by the way, I have lil rays and the C3VR sticker in/on my ride, I'll have red, white and blue ribbon in my hair, and will be parked with the rest of the club if anyone else goes besides me, so find me and say hello!

Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Corvette on May 3, with a record gathering of Corvette owners showcasing their cars, a historic display of Corvettes representing each year of production, as well as world famous and custom models. Legendary Corvette owners and celebrities are expected to attend. The Corvette Day display will be on view to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is included with the price of Museum admission. Darla, it was great to meet you too..."A" and I had fun. If you ever cruise to HB, you'll have to look us up. As for the event, I thought it was excellent. We did take some photos (non-digi) but have not had the chance to get them developed. We'll get 'em up on the web some how.
