Interesting.   I know it's progress, but sometimes I wonder.

I liked my town,Anacortes,before they cut all the trees down for all the new houses. When I moved here,I used to be able to ride a dirt bike or my horses,from one end of the island to the other and not hit pavement once.Those days are not only long gone,but so is the small town atmosphere.

I guess I'm old school and agree with Ken and wonder if this is truly progress. I hope thet at some point we can realize that what we are taking away can't be replinished fast enough to accomodate our growth.

Do people realize that one of the reasons we have oxygen to breathe,is cuz of trees?

My bet is that it is some kind of Blue Collar Thinking... Naw, sucks that just air, trees is good fer firewood. Kinda like that ther water... Sucks thars a whole ocean fulla that stuff.
