Here is my .02 
If you cross the 205 bridge near PDX, then take 84 east to Troutdale then you can pick up HWY 26,
That is why I'm suggesting Welches Thriftway parking lot. This is just before Government Camp and way before Mt Hood/Timberline. We take HWY 26 to Madras then south on HWY 97 to Redmond and then Bend.
What do you think?
I see we have a number of C3's coming from WA.
How many from Oregon are going to connect up with the group?

Looks like I have another change in plans. I am going to have to meet the group in Madras. Our son won't get back from his youth group trip until Tuesday so the trip to Portland is canceled. Do you have an eta for Madras?
