Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow Coupe - ZZ4/4 speed, Hurst shifter, Griffin aluminum radiator w/ Dual Spals, March Serpentine Pulley kit, Hookers with STS Racing Baffles, VB&P Suspension bits, 17" AR Hopsters, L-88 Hood
Anybody going to the Cruisin' for a Cure show on Sept. 27 in Costa Mesa, CA? I got an e-mail from Corvette Mike in Anaheim saying they are expecting at least 300 Corvettes, along with 2,700 other American classics, muscle cars, etc. I signed up a few months ago and it should be one helluva show. |saluteflag|

Yes, we attended the Cruisin for a Cure...I had not checked the message board for awhile or I would have responded.
We were part of the crazies who stagged our cars friday night, then got up at o'dark thirty (3 somthin) and waited until 4:30am to get in!
We did get a great spot, and it was a great time. All for a good cause.
You should try crusin to Crystal Cove on Sat mornings, PCH between Corona Del Mar and Laguna. It has become quite a hangout for us car nutz. The meet is at Starbucks in the parking lot.
Later, Mike

Hey Mike...You aren't kidding, the show on Saturday was great...what an unbelievable group of cars. I rolled in at around 6:30 and parked over with the other Corvettes. I've been down to Crystal Cove and the other cruise I hit is the Donut Derelicts in Huntington Beach. Look for my car if you're down at Crystal Cove this weekend...Laguna Grey 1970 Coupe with original blue CA plates.

I hit Donut Derelicts this morning...didn't have the time to make the drive down to Crystal Cove. Will probably hit Fuddruckers Lakewood later today for their monthly cruise. |toungecool|
