It appears Terry called the C3 Corvette God (Joel) first for help Clap  Since we have not heard from him since the Vette was loaded.

Glad to hear your in Seattle and got problems fixed.  I'll see you tomarrow at Larry's BBQ, maybe I'll run into you on the road.

Well, I heard from Stingray Jim this afternoon that Terry & Elba were stuck in Wyoming.  He was only runnin' on 2 cylendars and had to call a Chevy Dealer.  Hadn't heard any more yet.....CryCry

He stopped and filled up with gas, made it about 50 miles or so, and it started runnin like crap. It was runnin fine before that, so it's highly possible he got some REALLY crappy fuel, maybe too much H2O in the fuel up there, or whatever else they put in it to add "volume"...
He had it flatbedded into Laramie, WY, and last I heard, was begging the guys to work some overtime to get it fixed, but still didn't know exactly WHAT the problem was. Could be the Mallory ignition system, could be fuel related, could just be a loose connection somewhere. We just don't know yet what they've found.
Ya'll keep yer fingers AND toes crossed for our Alaskan brother and sister.
His dang cell-phone battery is dead...

We are in Denver..Thank God..When I installed the ZZ4 in the car it was built and set up for Sea Level, the Holley 750 was rejetted for max performance, well filling the tank with fuel in Rowlins and running at speeds of 87MPH and heading for Denver you climb to 7000 feet above sea level.. I was over fueling the engine causing fouling of the plugs and I keep running thinking it had to due with the last thing I did, fuel up, and I could clean it out!!...Well that did not happen, she quit on me..DEAD

After talking to my maintenance crew, I called AAA for pickup..And the Chevy Dealer nearest..The Dealer detuned the Holley, leaned it out..WOW I'm using less fuel and have the same performance for speeds from 70 to 90 and above.. Elba& I will leave in the morning for Oklahoma City, and all is OK, Again, thank you crew and friends for keeping us lifted..Elba won't drive because of the allowed speeds, but I'm having a BLAST and you know what? It's just that much more fun when you overcome the breaks that are delt you..

See you all soon..Terry & Elba
