Boy, did I have a scare last night! Took off the passenger side wheels to polish them and install new lug nuts. When I was putting the front wheel on, one of the studs snapped right off! I was in a panic, but this morning I called the service manager, Pat, at Corvette Specialties of MD. He told me even though he had a man out, to bring it over and he would take care of it himself! I am elated because I was kind of hesitant to take a two hour trip with 4 lugs. I can't begin to describe how helpful they have been in fixing what others ( who said "oh sure, we know all about Corvettes." ) have screwed up on the car. So we will be there bright and early Sunday to meet up with all of you!

Well we made it. We are at the Marriott Residence Inn in Exton. Bev and Terry are here too.
I was thinking of turning around and going home. My car really hates me this trip. The new high torque starter has been acting up on this trip. Then the darn bolts holding my gearshift in fell out. Rendering us stranded on the side of the highway. Thankfully a young guy on a side street was out working on his car was kind enough to loan me some tool to fix my problem. This is the first (and last) trip I didn't take tools with!!! Then I lost my brakes, and almost rear ended a car. Upon inspecting for fluid leaks and level, everything was fine. So we nursed the car along, and as we did the brakes returned to normal. Odd very odd.
Needless to say I quite frazzled. And I never get that way. We all went over to the Chicago Bar and Grill and had a nice dinner and I myself had many Amstel lights to calm my nerves.
See everyone in the morning!

Nice to see both of you made it safely. Glad the night went well and beer was cold.

See everyone in 10 hours or so...
