Man..you guys sure are making missing this gig tough..really sounds like a great time!!   Cry   Although for a few brief minutes I will be very close to you....we go up RT 81 on our way to Canada right through the center of Oneida Lake...get there about 4:00 in the morning of the 31st...so I'll wave to all you partiers that are still up yet!!Rolling On The Floor Laughing

Dan, close is correct as the show is on oneida lake but opposite end I'm pretty sure you can see the lake from rt.81.
You never know...this may turn into an annual thing......eboland in the summer...Lukes in the fall.....

Just in case you do not know this Oneida lake holds trout, Northern Pike, Sturgen, Lrg and Sm mouth bass, jack perch, and noted as one of the best Walleye fisheries in the NEast. Plus on the 31st of July it will hold over 500 vettes!

I think you need to exert your tremendous influence on them to change the date next year so it does not conflict with my fishing trip to Canada!!!!
that way I could do both the Vettes on the Beach and fish!! I know about the good fishing there, my daughter-in-law's cousin fishes bass tournaments there and we always see tons of boats out there when we pass by there on our way back home. Oops, disregard last sentence..off topic. Big smile
