Will be beginning my 2nd year in the NorthEast Kingdom of Vermont (aka The NEK) this month and still getting to know my new home state. One thing I didn't get to experience last summer were the cruise-ins hosted by Hemmings Motor News in their hometown of Bennington, Vermont (which is about a 3 hour drive from my home). Last summer (2024) they were held on a Friday night in June, July, August and September - one each month - from 5 pm until 8 pm.
They haven't yet published whether or not they plan to host them again this summer but in case they do thought I'd throw out an idea of having a gathering there. I have sent an e-mail to them asking if they plan on hosting the cruise-ins this year and here's what I got for a response. They plan on having cruise-ins on the following dates:
- May 15
- June 19
- July 17
- Aug 14
- Sep 11
May or September will probably work the best for me as there are already travel plans being looked at during June, July and August. They all may not work out but I have to keep those 3 months open at the moment.
So just testing the waters to see if there is any interest in over-running the place with Corvettes! Could add in other things to do before and/or afterwards if there was any interest.
