Saturday Night Parade at Carlisle 2005

Last year I was in the parade. A real hoot to see all the people along the route, begging you to "light-em up" and cops just waiting for someone to lay a patch.

Then you park in the middle of Main Street and mingle with everyone.

Anyone going to ride in the parade this year?

Carlisle, PA does it right.  Whoever sold the car concept to the city council was a genius.  They have gatherings for all kinds of car people and they all bring money to the town, which is a pretty nice and the people are friendly.  More so, IMHO than St. Charles, IL.  Of course, if car nuts are your main source of revenue, why not be gracious?

Yes, I will be parking in the Fun Display area, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Don't know if I will be in M or not, but close by there.
