After looking at the map, it is just way too far out of the way for me to get up on Rt 90. I will be coming up 87, the New York Thruway and will see if anyone is still going to stop at the Paltz rest area and catch them there.

Harry,
You should caravan with DaveM, stop at exit 18 at New Paltz and have lunch with KDADDY79.

Harry, if you come east on I-84 and get on I-87 north, you go one exit and that's where we are having lunch at 12 noon. Get off exit 18 and make a right on 299 and the diner is a short ways on the right. From there we can go north (about 2 hours) to Lake George.

We have some morning commitments, and will be on the road by mid-day. We will be taking Rt 88 north to Albany to thruway to 87 northway to exit 20. That is closest for us and most direct route. If anyone is in that path we would welcome you. M-n-S

Man, did I want to go to this, but this fall there is just no way I could work out the timing.
Hey Al, Clean out your mail box. I tried to send you a PM but it said you exceeded your limit. Must be all that hate mail.
