Dave Wright and I will be taking the back roads thru the Adirondak mountains on Friday. If any one wants to join us I'm just off the Utica exit on I 90.
Harry not sure if your trailering but if you want to drop trailer and go from my place I have lots of room for your tow car and trailer. It's about a two hour run from my place to Lake George. Evil Smile

This mornings news said Lake Placid area is nearing peak for color and Catskills close behind. Looks like we nailed this date. I hate to talk about weather so early in the game......but it may be a "Lukes BBQ" repeat.............
Dress warm for the evenings remember the place I picked is just "leanto's" but great view of the starsBig smile..............Evil Smile

I'm actually heading up to the High Peaks tomorrow for a weekend of hiking in the Adirondacks.
This weekend should be gorgous up there.
Note to self: Bring camera.

Clap IF it is a repeat of the BBQ week-end, PLAN on a fantastic time.  The weather was wonderful and the event was worth the trip. The only lean-to we had there was when we took the photo for the group and  IRON 82 said get in closer, LEAN in so I can get you all in the shot.

We will be meeting KDADDY79, Kevin, for lunch on the way up there. Meeting him at New Patlz,exit 18 on the NY Thruway, at noon on Friday. It's about 2 hours from there to Lake George so we should be at the motel around 3pm.
When is everyone getting there?

I plan to drive up to my house in the Poconos on Thursday then on up to Lake George Friday in the Vette.  I won't be towing, so Adam needs to know if he brings his vette he might have an opportunity to view nature up close and kiinda personal ~ while walking back to PA.  The route from north east of Scranton is east on 84 then north in New York.  Not sure about what route you are speaking, EBO.  But I will make sure Patricia is up and has had breakfast before starting the car!!

Dave Wright will be at my place around 2pm so we are looking to pull in around 4:30 ish. I have a few old stompin grounds to show Dave that are excellent picture ops.
