Corvette Show at Hooters - Reading (May 18, 2003)

Skyline Drive Corvettes will be hosting the "Hooters 3rd Corvette Summer Bash" at the Hooters of Reading, PA on Sunday, May 18, 2003 from 11 am to 3 pm. Hooters will provide 1st and 2nd place trophies for this show in 7 Corvette year classes: 1953-1962; 1963-1967; 1968-1973; 1974-1982; 1984-1990; 1991-1996; 1997-2003. . . participant judging. The Hooters girls will pick out their favorite Corvette for "Best of Show". Dash plaques to the first 80 Corvettes. 50-50 tickets to support the Fire Tower Restoration project with Pagoda-Skyline, Inc. Hooters will have food specials during the day. Admission free. Hope to see a lot of C3VR Vettes! Hooters is located on Business 222, just north of Reading, across from the Fairgrounds Square Mall.

Hey... I went to this event!

Even though the forecast called for sun, it rained from 10am to 2pm. But the sun DID finally come out long enough for everyone to do some walking around and looking at over 50 Vettes that braved the rain and came out!

Thropies were awarded to Vettes selected by the show participants. I didn't win a trophie , but I DID win the 50/50!!!!

I've never won a 50/50 anywhere! I took home $171. Not bad for a $10 donation to the 50/50 fund.

Glad you could come to our Skyline Drive Corvettes - Hooters Show and promote C3VR . Despite the rainy weather we had 54 Corvettes in attendance. Hooters wants to do two more shows this year. . .plus we have our big show on July 12. More info about that later.

Can't believe you won $171 in the 50-50!!!!! Cool.
