I went to this event last year. It was pretty interesting. Lots and lots of parts for all kinds of cars, especially very old cars. You never know what you will find there. They also have vendors selling everything from die cast cars to juke boxes and rec room items. This year it is supposed to be larger because they added space in an adjoining building. The good news is that there is lots of parking. It does get crowded, so if you are looking for a certain part >>> get there early. Jimmy

As of Friday 11/14/05 I still plan on driving up...
Figure it will be about a 2 hour drive But what do I care...
Never been before...just curious ... and the best way to
satisfy that...is to waste the entire day... Like what else am I going to do Saturday...
If worst comes to worst at least I will have my mind on
cars and parts.... lol

Well,,,,,,Warbird, myself and another friend spent a couple of hours @ Automania on Saturday.
I wasn't too lucky finding any parts that I needed, but it was nice to be at an event with other "car people."
There were plenty of parts for many old cars & such as well as some nice shiny chrome stuff.
It is a very good place to go for memorabilia, like old metal signs & stuff for the garage. Warbird managed to pick up some original manuals & brochures & stuff for his baby.
Best of all, it was only 7 bucks & it was INSIDE.
I wish I could have met some members while there, maybe those lapel pins will help.

Well I had a hell of a head cold and after firing up my
computer I found it would be a 167 mile drive one way to Allentown...
SO
I stayed home and treated my head cold with Bloddy Marys and watched the afternoon football game...
Just curious would it have been worth the drive ... not really looking for parts...none of my cars really need
any parts (..yea sure...lol) BUT just as a way to get back (mentally) into the swing of being a car lover...
Maybe it is time to buy another project car...
