that's right... i have a powerbox in the car... the more i "smoke" , the more my 0-60 time..... Best times are with a bit spinning at launch but goose the pedal to get grip as soon as possible.... It's simple i think , there's just room to play in 1ste gear under let's say 3000 rev's... once above you have the torque and HP , so you need grip... Wink

Vette(s): 1979 Red L-48 Corvette with Doeskin interior, 3-speed automatic, 3.55 rear; 1986 L-98 Coupe, 4+3 Manual - Satin Black and Purple (SCCA TT/Hillclimb Car); 1993 White LT-1 Coupe, Black Interior, 6-speed

Not terribly impressive - As they say here in NASCAR land - keep the foot down until you see the ambulance lights.....

Tire smoke isn't the fastest way 0-60, but who cares! Goodyear will make more...
C3: 1979 Corvette Coupe, Auto, L-48, Red/Doeskin (my wife's fave);
C4s: 1986 C4 coupe (SCCA road race car), satin black, 4+3, Z51 package, L-98;  & 1993 C4 coupe, white, 6-speed, LT-1.

Geez nothing exciting going on there. No good burn outs, no high revs, no good looking scantilly clad women. What a sad day to race cars. But then again you did say this wasn't a Vette sponsered event huh....!

Thanks for posting this up Norbert! I still liked seeing the cars anyway.
