My god... yesterday went to a Dutch meeting-rally... there was a acceleration test for which you had to subscribe ahead... so i didn't got the chance... damned.

But the weather was fine for the time of the year so we had a great day !

now.. the tests : from 0 to 100 km/h ( 62.5 mph ) what a bunch of amateurs !

Ok, the C6ZO6
did it in 4.7 sec but... it was with a Porsche club and them Porsche Turbo won in 4.4 sec....

Seems to me that they were really babying thier cars. I like the idea though. I wonder if our club would get into something like this? Great idea. Would be good bragging rights for the next year.

I agree they were babying them...especially the C6 Z06. It should have made it in less than 4 secs.

Woooops !....Sorry buddy. First time I watched it, I didn't think much of it either. Didn't comment 'cause I didn't want to offend you, but it looks like fun. At least you don't have to stop before the end of the ship comes up.

Looks like fun, but it does seem they were taking it a bit easy.
That would be a good day.

If they ain't smokin, you must be jokin.
Translation- If you don't spin and smoke your tires, you aren't serious about seeing how fast you can accelerate your Vette.
Maybe we can try this in the hotel parking lot at Hot Springs in April and see what happens.
