Hot Rod Power Tour Pics

Just wanted to share some of the pics during the Hot Rod Power Tour. My son and I went the entire distance. Left Dallas area to join the start of the tour in Nashville, then on to Memphis, Jackson, MS, New Orleans, Lake Charles, Shreveport, and then back home to Dallas. What a blast! I beleive the last official count of Long Haulers were 990 cars. Awesome. Waiting for next year

Awsome cars, looks like a fun time.

It was a blast!. Next year they will be starting from Texas Motor Speedway (DFW(home)) and possibly go the Las Vegas or Reno....
This was my 2nd Power Tour. We went in 2000 in my son's 1969 Camaro, 5 days after he turned 16. (He drove the entire distance) and again in 2003 in my 75 Vette. Maybe 2004 will take them both.
I highly recommend it to everyone. You meet alot of good fols and make great new friends.

A friend of mine & his wife drove their '70 corvette & had a blast ... Kelly & I are going to try to do it next year ... anyone know the dates yet for 2004??

"The 2004 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour, presented by General Motors and co-sponsored by Flowmaster, will travel from the Lone Star State to America's dairy land. This annual trek of everything from classic hot rods to late-model performance vehicles will launch from Arlington, Texas on Saturday, June 5, 2004 and conclude in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Friday, June 11, 2004".
