I'll see what the boss is doing.  I have it on the calendar, as of today no one has requested that time off for vacations, having a small crew has it's benefits.  Lets talk more about it in Carson City, maybe get a showing of C3vr to cruise in together.
everytime I am at a show with you and your vette, you beat me out of hardware and you also win the flashy vest too.

[QUOTE=Norsky]The Black Hills Corvette Classic, hosted by the Souix Falls Corvette Club, is an annual run across South Dakota.  It starts out on the east coast of the state at Souix Falls and caravans west across the state to Spearfish in the northern part of the Black Hills.

I don't have a recent count of cars but I know the number has been between 500 and 1,000.  This one is on my list of events to make sometime in the next few years.

Norsky, my wife is from Rapid City, and she's got a brother in Western MN.  I'm trying to convince her to make the trip.  Not this year, but I'm hoping maybe in '08.  Would love to see you there.  I'll keep you in mind as planning gets closer.  I figure we stay overnight with her brother, then trip in to Soiux Falls in the morning.  I think it'd be a great trip and I love the idea of driving that whole way in a caravan of Corvettes!!  Even if we don't break the speed limit, we can do 75!!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Vette(s): 72 coupe, 350 4 spd, modified motor, exhaust, tires & wheels. '91 ZR1, modified exhaust.
This year marks the 14th annual "Vettes at the Beach" show in Sylvan Beach on the Eastern shore of Oneida Lake in Central NY. Last years show drew its biggest attendance, 473 entries. It aint no Carlisle either but it's growing. Even as big as Carlisle is, it started out small. Also, this year MidAmerica is sending up some reps. I think they'll be impressed and maybe next year send up "who knows what?" And all of the proceeds have gone to local charities such as the Shriners, Breast Cancer Research, and Food Banks just to name a few. It's the last Sunday in July. Check it out, I think you'll be impressed too. A website connection is posted on this sites show schedule. rick jay2007-06-06 21:07:29
