Hello Ladies & Gents!!!!

We just signed up for the 2009 NCM Caravan to Bowling Green, KY. We have decided to take the '71 Coupe on the road trip! Thumbs%20Up

1760 miles one way....gonna be a LONG ride, but it ain't gonna suck! The more C3s the better IMO.

*I just gotta find a nice BIG fuel tank*

2009 is the 15th anniversary of the NCM and they're planning a big gathering to celebrate.  Click here to lean more about it and register.

2008 is the 55th anniversary of the Corvette.  I don't see a major celebration for it on the NCM's website (yet) and haven't seen anything mentioned about one in communications to the ambassadors.

I also signed up for the 2009 Caravan. The logistics involved in this are mind-boggling.Wacko
I have not done any of the previous Caravans, but I have heard it will be unbeliveable. There will literally be miles of Corvettes decending on Bowling Green all at once.
I really don't like crowds or waiting in line, but this will be awesome. Can you imagine 100 Vettes pulling into a gas station to get topped off before the next leg?Confused
I hope to see a few familiar faces on the way and at the Museum.
I better go make my reservation for my campsite before they are all taken.LOL

I am signed up, I emailed our captain type person twice for the caravan  and they have not responded, thats twice in 6 months...  I might end up joining another caravan. I have been watching the chat and some of them are staying pretty active.

It will come together later on I guess... Wacko

Scott, check out the ND, SD, MN route. It shouldn't be too hard for you to meet up with us along the way, if you can't get in touch with your caravan. I know we're spending the night in Bloomington.
