This is a poll to see by a show of hands who would be interested in attending the MAM SPRING EVENT. We have enough time to notify the fine folks at MAM that we would be comming and they might be willing to rollout the proverbial [color=red]Torch Red[/color carpet for us...
I recently went to the 34th anniversary bash and had a good time. If there is an interest in an overnight stay the Holiday Inn Express in Highland, Il. is very nice and clean. Another bonus is next to the hotel is Farmers Restraunt. It is a family style restraunt with very good food and foot high pies....
If we can get a group together then Scott (CJNutz) and I will work together to set some things up for us.
I will update the poll accordingly if an interest is shown....

I just love going to MAM , always something new ! Toys to look at, Toys to buy!
I just told Suzy that I need to go ahead and get one of the Vettes ready for the trip if the weather cooperates with us.
ALl I need for the 77 is to fix the brake fluid leak.

MAM Swapfest is May 3, 2008 , I will meet you there !
Another swapfest is in October if you can't make the first one..
Dave, leave early and watch the weather, I have the perfect place for your tent !
It would be awesome if you could make it.
I have a list of 95 C3 s in close driving distance and have invited them all to come , only a couple are C3VR members as far as I know. It would be awesome if they came and we had a good turnout and ...and .. and..., wishful thinking.....

I just got off the phone with Nancy at MAM.
We can plan more as we get more people on board , for now we have ...
Tour of their manufacturing plant
They are going to provide lunch for us after the tour
There might be a seminar and maybe other things as well
To make this happen and get sweeter , we need people on board for this.
I think it will be a good time !

There are about 100 or so current local members that could potentially be C3VR members as well. I will keep you informed of the response I get , good or bad
Mid America Motorworks is holding its Spring Into Gear Saturday Event on March 15th. Lots of Specials, Sale Items & Fun.
I am also helping organizing a midwest cruise in for www.c3vr.com the same day.
There will be a plant tour which I know some of you already went on, they will provide lunch after the tour as well as other activities already planned for that day.

I know there is a lot going on and theres always weather issues and most of us have been to MAM a hundred times, but theres a few that I think would really enjoy this. You will also get to rub shoulders with other C3 nutz in the region.
