Hate to see it but this Thursday (9/27) will be the last cruise-in of the season at the Minnetonka Drive-In (they close up for the year after this coming weekend). Hopefully the weather will cooperate...!!!

The Minnetonka Drive-In is located in Spring Park, MN on Hennepin County Road (HCR) 15. From the I-394/I-494 interchange head west on I-394, then exit on HCR 15 West. Depending on traffic it is about a 10 minute drive along the shores of Lake Minnetonka to Spring Park. Heading west on HCR 15 the drive-in will be on the right side about 3/4 of a mile past the stoplight by a Spur gas station.

Hope your weather is good. Most of the weekly cruise-ins around here have already closed. And the weather has been exceptionally warm. But the days are getting short.

It's sunny right now at lunchtime. But the forecast is for rain moving in this afternoon and overnight. Hope the "weather-guessers" are wrong.
I forgot to mention that this weekly gathering is for anything on wheels - cars, trucks, motorcycles, ???. You see them all - classics, muscle cars, hot rods, exotics, kit cars, you name it.
The Minnetonka Drive-In is one of just a half dozen or so still left around the Twin Cities metro area. The carhops aren't on roller skates but do bring your food to the car.
