There were a few people who came to the Car Show in the Park last September in Hermann MO from Kansas City and St. Louis. We all had a great time and they took several prizes home with them. There is going to be another car show this May in a small town just north west of Hermann. I am not sure of the exact date yet but I will keep everyone informed who is interested.
It is being put on by the same car club as in September. They are the River City Cruisers. This is the first time a car show will take place at this location. There is a concession stand for food and drinks. The profits from the car show is to benefit the Volunteer Fire department of Rhineland. They are in need of equipment for their volunteers to support the community. My wife, who is a nurse, is a volunteer.

The show is going to be a cruise type event. There is no admission. There is some really nice scenery there if you would like to take pictures of your car with a nice background. There will be food and drinks. There will be no judging. There will be some plaques handed out for such things like the Mayors Choice Award.
This event will be next to the ball field that they are trying to get funds to light so you will be able to see what is trying to be done. Donations and proceeds from the food is going to be the only way for them to get some money together. So far, the date is April 29th. The ball field is used by the local baseball youth teams and this would benefit kids of all ages.

For any of you planning on coming from the Washington area or Pacific area, highway 100 is closed down outside Hermann by the concrete plant. The side of the road is giving way and going down the side of the hill. If you do come from that area, take highway Z to highway H and turn right. At the end of H, turn right on to RT 19 and Hermann Ford will be on the left. If you miss highway H, continue on to Z to RT 19 and turn right. Go about 10 miles and Hermann Ford is on the left. I would highly recommend taking 70 as the alternate route.

I just seen the forecast for this next weekend and it shaping up to be nice. It is supposed to be mostly sunny and 75. Come on out and have a good time. There are going to be some antique tractors so there is going to be something for everyone. The organizer has a few drag cars that he is bringing.
