Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed
Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Anyone planning on going this year? I've never gone, but I've thought about it a number of times, and it's getting to be that time of year for me to think about it again!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

It's on my list of shows to get to but unfortunately it will not be this year. I've heard that the St. Charles location is much nicer than the county fairgrounds at Bloomington.

I go every year, usually both Friday and Saturday. I'm usually on a mission to find some obscure part, quite often successfull.
Just hope it's not scorching hot or raining. Usually one or the other.

Previously owned: 1969 427, 390hp, 4sp, Riverside Gold coupe, factory side exhaust
I can speak from experience that Phesant Run in St. Charles is MUCH nicer than the Mc Clean County Fairgrounds in Bloomington. I used to go every year in the 1970s and early 1980s. At the time it was called the Bloomington Corvette Corral.
At least in St. Charles, when it rains you don't have the mud that you have at the fairgrounds. I also remember looking at Corvette parts in the cattle barns.

The reason I have wanted to go was for Survivor judging. I had them send me the judging sheet and I'm fairly sure I would get it (I would not achieve Gold status!). Makes me want to go.
However, I just got word at work yesterday about big doings the same week as BG. I don't think there's any way I could go now given that. Maybe next year...
