Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
Is anyone going to Bloomington Gold in St Charles, Il this year. They call it the Grandaddy of all corvette shows. It is being held on June 13-16, 2002. The website is

Vette(s): 82 Collector Edition (*sold 12/2006)
I'm not going, but Ira who's in my club is. He was kind enough to ask me if I needed anything for him to look for. I said yes! Crossfire emblems! I figured that if you could find a new pair in GM boxes, that would be the place. I sure hope he calls me with prices. I've emailed Paragon and they say they've got them. They must be like the only company who does. lol

Vette(s): It's a 1976 L-48 auto Red with Firethorn and white delux interior, 68,000 miles. I have tried to restore it to NCRS specs and have recieved 1 Bronze 3 Silver, 1 Gold Spinner and Top Gun, Best C3 Vette at Chicago's Chevy/Vette Fest.
So long as money holds out I should be going. To go to Bloomington prior was kinda hard, but now when its just a short 45 minute ride from home you bet I am going! I have a friend from Michigan who will probably drive her '01 C5 down unless she plans on bidding at the auction. For me I will trailer and try to have my car judged for its first time here. Hope to see you there!

Definitely going. Can't bring my baby though, while I'm down there I'll have to find a place to buy high octane fuel since she needs 99 octane and I can't make it there and back on one tankful.

Rich,
I do know of a gas station that sells 100 octane racing fuel near me if you wanted to still take your car down to Bloomington. It is located in I believe Bensenville. If you or anyone else is interested in the station I'll get the address for you.

Hiya Nikki,
Care to share any of that info with the rest of us? And if it isn't in the Vette Events Calendar yet we should definitely get it posted there.
Thanks!

Jim,
All of the info for Bloomington Gold is on their website.

I am planning on being there at least 2 days, Thursday for workshops, and Saturday for the show.

Ok, thanks. I'll check it out and also look in the Vette Events Calendar for it. Until then here's a clickable link to the Bloomington Gold website.

Hi Nikki,
Yes, I would like the address of that station and a rough description of their location.
