The last "Hot Rod Cruise-In" of the 2008 season at the Minnetonka Drive-In will be on Thursday, October 2nd. Come on out to the western side of the Twin Cities metro area and enjoy some good food, good company, and an ever changing parade of "toys on wheels".
The Minnetonka Drive-In is located on Hennepin County Road 15 in Spring Park, MN about 15 minutes west of the I-394/I-494 interchange (here's a Google Maps link). The cruise-in begins in the late afternoon and usually starts to wind down around sunset (a few diehards hang around until the lights are shut off for the night!). The earlier you get there the better the parking spot you can get.
So let's see if we can fill up the place with C3s...!!!

I have been out there a couple of times this past year and certainly plan to attend on Thursday, weather permitting. There are usually some very cool cars there, but not nearly enough Corvettes! As Norsky says,..an ever changing parade of toys on wheels.... If are any C3VR emebers around the area, you won't regret stopping by to show off your toy.
There is no substitute for low end torque!

The TC metro forecast for Thursday is sunny and cooler. Leaf colors are beginning to change so it should be a great night for a drive around Lake Minnetonka to the drive-in...!!!
