I dont know if any of the GM assembly manuals were published with an index but the 1982 was not. I thought I'd pass this along in case anyone was looking but hesitant to buy. I just took delivery of an index that I bought on Ebay from drago's corvettes. The index appears to be very thorough and the spot checks Ive done shows it is accurate. It will be well worth the $15.00 investment the next time I need to find a part location instead of going page to page for an hour until I find it.

The AIMs did not have indexes. The pages that were relevant to each assembly station were placed in that area/work station.
Most AIMs that you buy today come with the index...at least mine did 10 years ago. i guess some folks have figured out a way to screw ya even harder...
I think mine only cost $5 more at the time.
Yo really need one, tho...the AIM can be hard to navigate without one.

I got a 78 index from a CF member, free! What a help that is! I still have it on the computer if any 78 owners would like a copy, that is if I can figure out how to send it! About 9 pages long. Mike
