Sorry if this topic has been discussed here already, Im a new member and havent seen it addressed yet. I am getting ready to store my 72 for the winter and somebody told me placing plywood on the floor of the garage absorbs the natural moisture that may seep up....Im in the NorthEast so I dont know if it applies here or not though......the winters are cold and dry ,so do I need to do anything ?

Whether your winters are dry or wet there will still be a certain amount of ground moisture that will work its way up through the garage floor.
I usually put a sheet of plastic on the garage floor to act as a vapor barrier. Moisture will not penetrate plastic but it will leech into wood and pass through to the air above (which ends up under your car).

Jim's answer is right on. I also put some plastic sheeting down, may also consider taping the edges of the plastic to the floor as well to keep it in place as well as keeping the moisture. Just a thought

I use a polypropelene tarp under Tux.. for the winter. That way I have something I can use in the summer too. It makes a nice area to walk on under my campers awning.
