When driving my 72 bb, my clothes always smell from gas fumes. I have to change clothes everytime I drive.

Doos this sound familiar, or is there a way to find out where those fumes are coming into the interior.

thanks, wayne

Where did you stop to eat?   Maybe your vapor canister is plugged ..................I'm sure you've already checked the more obvious culprits.

My thoughts exactly Reid. I was wondering if it was "natural" gas or petroleum.  No offense intended Wayne....it's ALL in fun

sounds as if maybe your car is running too rich, smells like gas fumes but is actually unburned fuel vapor, check your carb adjustment,, if that dont work try irish spring

I would inspect the vapor return system from the intake manifold all the way back through the vapor cannister and vapor line to the tank. Look for a disconnected tube.
