I took my C3 out on the road today. I still need to do a lot of work, but it has the lights functioning and it runs. Still no paint, and it does not even begin to look good yet. Granted it looks great to me.
I pulled up to a stop light, and a silver C5 pulled up behind me. I adjusted my mirror slightly to get a better look.
AND THERE IT WAS! I GOT THE WAVE. Of course I waved back right away! Made my day! No snob factor there. Long live the wave!

I always try to make it a point to throw my hand up when I see another
vette. I may not always get my hand up in time but I try. Glad to see
it is alive and well in your area.

There have only been two places where I don't wave at every Vette I see. Carlisle and Bowling Green. My arm gets too tired

I took the Vette out last weekend on a road trip to Vegas for a basket ball coaches convention. Only saw two C5's on the road, but both returned our wave. One even convoyed with me for the better part of 50 miles before he turned off for LA. Save the wave!

Glad the wave is alive and well in the rest of the country, the Los Angeles
C5 owner seems to be clueless to the wave concept. I wave but get
SERIOUS frowns back (like 'who the hell are you, I don't know you'). But I
did pass an aqua '82 beaut and the driver nearly fell out of the car
returning the wave! It's a start....Good weather to be rolling the roads
though!!!
