Vette(s): 1970 stingray, t-top, mulsanne blue with black interior, 406 ci with 444 hp, racing suspension, hooker headers/sidepipes - SOLD :(
just for fun....okay actually I'm looking at a pretty 71 and I really shouldn't be...but if I were to try to sell my 70 stingray, 350/300, automatic, power steering, power windows, tilt/telescopic, t tops and removable rear window, brand new intake manifold and 4 bbl carb, mulsanne blue w/ black interior...with its blown engine...(see the post in C3 engines entitled BOOM and my baby is dead)...how much should I charge?  I got 'er for 17.

Mike

My old Stingray...sure do miss it:

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

Buy the 71, repair or replace the engine in the 70, and keep the one you like best, or keep them both.

Ahh if money were not the issue.  It sure is for me.

actually money kinda is the issue, which is why I'm ehh.  it'd be all about the condition in the body...there's some bubbling in the paint on the 70 that makes me a bit nervous.  but all in all I'm gonna end up replacing engine/tranny and customizing whichever car i keep, so I guess the cheapest route is to just keep the 70.
