Any rcomendations for a spark plug. Vortec GM iron heads,mild Comp Cam, stock q jet carb,automatic(agh). Plugs must be able to do 190 MPH,HA!

Most of the people like to stay with the AC plugs...unfortunately they start breaking up at around 180 mph..........

Vette(s): 1979, Targa Blue (72 Color), Pace Car rear spoiler, L88 hood, Dark blue factory interior, 525HP 406, HD 700R4, 370 gears,Steeroids, composite rear spring, TT IIs wrapped in T/A Radials.
AC or Bosch is what I've used.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
I agree that AC is a good plug but I prefer the Bosh platinum plus 4. They seem to last longer and burn cleaner.

Edelbrock recommends on their Vortec aluminum heads Champion RC-12YC plugs.........I'll try to find the equivalent AC #

Gilbert Chevrolet (old Sallee) recommends the AC R44LTS plugs.
