Steeroids has notified us that their price will go up to $1345.00 on October 1st.  I am sure our cost will go up correspondingly, so we will only be able to offer the $1,050.00 price for another 30 days.  After that, we will still offer members a far better price than we offer anyone else, but I suspect we will have to raise it by $100.00.

We do not need a group buy to get that price.

I will agree with him, this has been the best up grade I have done. With the composite mono leafs in front & rear the car handles like a dream. I recomend this to anyone that isn't worried about the number's game, build it for you!!

I am ready for better steering. After just getting the car back from the body shop after6+ years I almost wrecked it twice in 15 minuites playing around in front of the house.580hp. and rowing the steering wheel is not a good combination. The bummer is all the steering parts are new. However, the control valve sprung a leak yesterday. So right now its all on the bench.Just waiting now to place an order.Big%20smile

Is this part capable of being installed on a 78 and specifically what components does this include?
Thanks

I installed it on my 77 and love it, I am not sure but the only negitive thing is I beleive my turning raduis may have decreased a little any others who have put this on I would be interested if you noticed the same. It is 2 mane components the rack and pinion unit and the turnbuckle unit. and some brackets. It replaces the control valve, steering box, rag Joint and acuator.   rraider12008-09-03 08:49:34

They make the kits specifically for your car.  They fit all 63 to 82 Vettes, power steering or manual, and either engine- big block or small.  You get everything needed:  A new rack with mounting brackets, tie rods, connection to steering column, and power steering hoses if so equipped.  It bolt on using the existing holes in the frame, and fits the existing steering column shaft and steering arms.  You remove your old rag joint, gear box, tie rods, and idler arm.  You can convert back to stock in the future without a mark on your car.

To order, call Corvette Specialties, or email parts@corvettespecialties.com.  We need to know year of car, power steering or manual, and engine.  We need a shipping address, and a credit card.

I have a Question for all. I have the Steeroids Rack in my Car and I'm just getting the Car sorted out. One problem I'm having is that I'm useing the Vintage Air Belt setup and don't have the OEM Power Steering Pump. I bought one from Speed Direct. My Car steers like a Lincoln Continetal it is way to over assited. I asume I need a smaller Pump Cartage and or Bigger Pulley. Anybody run into this one???
