I'm having a little problem with my speedo cable. I've replaced it twice and I'm still having problems with it not working properly. I greased it and it still jumps back and forth and then it stops altogether. When I reroute it, it gets caught on the exhaust and meltsAngry. Is it supposed to be 72 inches longConfused, and my cable connects to the passenger side of the tranny. Will a cable adapter work?

You should have a 90 degree adapter on the trans to start with. If you do not have the adapter, that is what is causing the cable to fail...to tight of a bend in it at the trans.
Not all 90 adapters are the same. so watch out if buying one. Some(most) are actually reducers, so they slow he speedo cable down some, or they may even speed it up. There is a "Ratio" stamped on it somewhere that gives the in/out ratio....

Thanks Joel, I see that Mid America Motorworks has one, and I will be putting in a order to them. Thanks again....
