I am restoring a 72 LT-1. I now need to find the Firestone Wide Ovals. I know Coker Tire does repro Wide Ovals, but does anybody know if a repro mfg. does these tires w/o DOT info on the tires. I hate taking points deductions for these.

As far as I know, they all have the DOT on them. They shouldn't deduct too much because it is still the original repro. Your only hope would be to find someone who has an original set stored away, but you will pay a king's ransom for them.
Good Luck

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.

Drew,

How much do you want for them??

PS - per our last phone conversation about LS-6's -- have you seen the ongoing thread in the "c3's for sale" section of the forum? Seems to be an LS-6 forgery on e-bay!
