Why you axin me this? Don't ya'll know by now I don't know nuthin?

I kinda agree wid Art...sounds like it could be the switch. Unplug the switch, and see if the wipers stop. If they do not, then it could be the wiper motor, or...a grounded wire in the circuit.

Wiper motors work a little different than most other things. The have voltage(12V+) all the time. The switch grounds the ciruit .

oh...make sure the switch is plugged in correctly, first!! Adams' Apple38968.792337963

Hmmm...

last time out, this "Joel" couldn't come up with any info on how to remove
some plastic storage racks...

now, this "Joel" misses the mark on a windshield wiper switch...

I suspect that the REAL Joel has been abducted by extraterrestrials and
replaced by a cyborg from the planet Mustangellenium...

which would explain why, all of a sudden, he appears to know nothing
about our cars.

How else to explain this bizarre turn of events?!?
