Hi all,
im going to be installing new trufex bumpers front and rear on a 1974 has anyone done this?
if so anything to look out for?

Wifey tapped the front bumper on something, I don't remember what, but the insurance still reflects it. The far coners gave me fits. I invented some new curse words gettin my hands up in there. Have patience.

I've got a 73 so I can only speak for the front truflex bumper.
Adams Apple about got it all covered. Remove the valance and you should have enough room to reach all the retainers, but your arms will find new bends and positions you never thought possible.
As for fit, mine was pretty close. Since I was refinishing the entire car at the time I was able to do a little body work on the car and the bumper to make an almost perfect fit.

hi all,
just installed the front bumper cover and it was alot faster then the rear, all the nuts were no problem to get to with the head lights up.
and it looks good!!
