Welcome z06vett!

Glad to be here!  I have been involved with Corvettes since 1962 when I ordered a new 1963 Z06.  I took delivery in June 1963 and owned the car until 2006 when I sold the car at Barrett-Jackson in AZ.  I tell you it was like going to a funeral and a wedding at the same time.  I enjoyed the greatly having driven it over 210,000 miles and never having to rebuild the engine until I restored it in the early 80's.  I did the show thing and trailered the car all over.  I was fortunate enough to win the Duntov Award, Bloomington Gold, be inviited to the first Bloomington Special Collection, included in Chip's Choice at Carlisle and be twice invited to Field of Dreams.  Besides the 1963 I have owned a 1954(basket case) another one owner 1963 340HP coupe, a 1984 Z51 coupe that my son still drives with over 300,000 mile, a 2006 Z51 and now a 2007 Z06.
