Vette(s): 1984 Crossfire Injection C4 Corvette converted to 750 Holley, ported L98 aluminum heads, .490/230/235 Lunati cam, Bee Hive. TCI Streetfighter 700R4. Stealth Ratchet Shifter.
Thanks Adam for the welcome. I have a bunch of questions but will start with one if you don't mind. I have an 84 as you can tell with my site name. I was really fascinated by this model since it was only produced the 2 years. And I have alway been a fan of multi carb set ups. I have learned a lot over the last few years reading bout it and finally got to thrashing on it last month. With higher compression (L98 heads) Bee Hive Springs and a .490L/430*@.050D cam the ECM is showing its limitations. The ECM controlled HEI distributor would not allow the distributor to advance causing no power after 3500-4000rpm. I had an MSD 6AL that I install and there is a noticeable difference as it pulls right to 5500 now (i haven't tried further yet). The issue is the "Check Engine" light. Is there a way to wire information to the ECM that would make it believe the HEI is still plugged in?
I appreciate any input anyone might have on this. Thanks.
CFI was limited with high compression and big cam. I tried. Now carb. Now better.

I do not have an answer for you. If you don't see any replies to your question in this thread, post it over in the Engines forum and you'll likely get an answer there.
Thanks!
