Tell us something more about your car. How did you come to own it and what are your plans for it?

I came to own this car at the Corvette Expo in Knoxville, Tn. in 1994. I've had it NCRS judged twice (Second Flight both times), the second time I missed Top Flight by about 3 per centage points. My goal is to do a little more to it, mainly install the correct A.I.R. system I have and a couple other small items, to obtain a Top Flight award.

This car is unrestored, I had it stripped and repainted with original paint and color 7 years ago. It has the original interior and practically all original parts still on it. I just had the original A/C compressor rebuilt, haven't put it on yet, I'm running an after market unit currently. I have an original tire in the spare tire tub.
I drive this car, not a lot, but do get 'er out for cruises and shows.
I bought my first Corvette (a '63 Fuel Inj Roadster) when I was 18 years old and have owned at least one every day of my life since. I drove a big block 72 for 28 years, and currently own a 65 Roadster which I drive a lot. Having owned, drivin, and worked on C2's and C3's for over 40 years I know them pretty well and love them more than any others.

I'm glad you said it was a repaint because when you said unrestored after I seen that photo I almost fell over. I'd love to see this one in person it's a beauty.

Yes, I had to have it repainted. I had it in Bowling Green for a judging event at the museum and alone with about 80 other Corvettes, it go caught on the judging/parade grounds by a hail storm that blew and rain golf ball size hail for just over 30 minutes. I wasn't the only grown kid there crying, so along came a repaint.
Give me shout sometime when you are in are passing thru Atlanta on your way to Florida as I'd love to show it to you.
Cheers
